In January 2022 Maghull and District were approached by a carer in Kirkby on behalf of her service user who has cerebral palsy. What was needed was identified as being a computer chair and desk. The request was treated confidentially by the welfare committee and approval was given for the purchase of suitable items

In order to maximise funding the computer desk and chair were purchased through Amazon Smile. This gives a small percentage of the nett cost of the item or items to a charity of the purchasers choice, in this case it was obviously Maghull and District Lions Club.

In the middle of the month the desk and chair were delivered and assembled for our client. She was absolutely delighted with it and it enables her to use her computer again.
