Three members of Maghull and District Lions Club have completed the 150ft free-fall abseil from above the West Doors of Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Lions in Free-Fall at the cathedral
Donations and sponsorship received are being donated to both Zoe's Place as well as helping local people and organisations through the club's welfare committee.
The daredevil trio were thrilled with the fantastic views of the city on the way down but considered the highlight of the morning was the bacon butty and coffee in the Cathedral refectory once they were safely down.
The Lions Club would like to express their thanks to the sponsors for supporting such a worthy cause.
