Maghull Lions at Southport's 55th Charter Lunch
A pleasant choice of food was offered to the guests with a some interesting twists on traditional dishes. For example, the melon starter was served with blackcurrant sorbet although with the room being so very warm it was quick to melt which made it difficult to eat with a knife and fork. The Ramada's management should be proud of their staff who were cheerful, attentive and efficient.
Throughout the meal we were entertained by a very talented singer who was accompanied by a young man on the guitar.
