Throughout the world, Lions are recognized by the emblem they wear on their lapels or have embroidered on clothing. Some even have other items of jewellery or other products like tote bags that show the Lion's emblem. Not only does it show how proud that person is to be a lion but also it is often a good starting point for a conversation about what lionism is and how we serve.
It consist of a gold letter "L" on a circular purple field (the colours have a significance by the way). Bordering this is a circular gold area with two lion profiles at either side facing away from the center. The word "Lions" appears at the top, and "International" at the bottom. Symbolically, The lions face both the past and future--proud of the past and confident of the future.
