Some of Our Helped Projects
A helping Organisation
Maghull and District Lions are part of a global voluntary service organisation primarily supporting our local community but also national and international projects.
Although only formed in 2016 and obtaining charter status in 2017 Maghull and District Lions Club has already raised thousands for worthwhile community initiatives.
For example, to get dehumidifiers for the victims of the Cumbrian Floods a bag packing day at Asda Aintree raised monet to contribute to helping them recover and return home.

All hospices are lacking in funding for the excellent work they do in providing compasionate, caring palliative care as well as supporting the families going through the torment of seeing a loved one suffer. Our Lions club raised over £2,500 for some syringe pumps for Woodlands Hospice. They are similar to the one in the photo above which illustrates their operation. They are used to administer in a controlled way the delivery of pain relief and other medications.
